The South Chico Community Assistance Center works within the community to alleviate hunger and provide referral services. We advocate for environmental, economic, and social justice. We promote the health, well-being, and dignity of everyone living in our community regardless of income or housing status. 

 

We do this by:

• Providing free, healthy food to at-risk and food insecure people of South Chico and beyond

• Providing free sanitary/hygiene products

• Providing free meeting space for community organizing, advocacy work, art, and music

• Providing referral services to service providers of all types

 

Our food pantry is currently open on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month. There is much more to come!
